Prayer makes a difference, look at this…
“And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He hears us: And if we know that He hear us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not to death, he shall ask, and He shall give him life for them that sin not to death. There is a sin to death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not to death.” 1 John 5:14-17 AKJV
Prayer and intercession for others make a very big difference because we have been blessed with this ability. Since we believers have this gift from GOD to intercede, it is helping our love ones and others remain out of hell. Apostle James said this concerning prayer: Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16 AKJV
Okay, the key is living as GOD desires without sin. Think about this for a moment. Do you have unanswered prayers? How is your life? Apostle James said: “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16 AKJV ~ Are you living as God desires? Prayer is effective when you are living as GOD desires, not as you desire. Apostle Paul urged Timothy to pray for everyone. It is important to intercede for others. He also urged Timothy to pray for people in authority. We need to pray for our politicians and the President of the United States. Apostle Paul wrote:
“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For there is only one
God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave His life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time.” 1 Timothy 2:1-6 NLT
Again, it is important to intercede for others. Apostle Paul said:
“Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.” 1Timothy 2:2-4 NLT
We have been blessed with this ability to intercede for others therefore, prayer makes a big difference. This gift from GOD is helping our loved ones and others remain out of hell and finally the ‘lake of fire’ after the judgment.
